About Us

The Leon High School Student Government Association is a student-led organization with the intentions of bettering our school and community. Upholding the traditions Leon holds dear, we also do our best to introduce new activities, ideas, and discussions in the halls of Leon High School for the benefit of the Student Body and our community. 

Our Mission Statement

"The Leon High School Student Government Association strives to serve the school and community by promoting leadership, bringing the student voice to administrative policy, and coordinating activities which inspire citizenship, school spirit, and academic excellence."

Announcement Regarding Membership

Entrance to the Leon High School Student Government Association can be obtained through an application process and interview or election into a class officer position. All levels of students applying to SGA will complete the same application and the same interview. Applications for those wishing to run for office and those wishing to interview will be posted on during the second week of March. Please indicate on the application if you are interviewing, running for office, or both.
